Pricing

Midtown Cakes specializes in custom designed cakes and cupcakes.  A 50% non-refundable retainer is required to hold date.  Rush charges may apply if orders are placed within a week of due/delivery date. 

 Wedding Cakes –  We specialize in one of kind Wedding and Grooms’ Cakes. A cake isn’t memorable unless it’s delicious. We take pride in using the best quality ingredients so that our cakes taste as good as they look. We also offer Cupcakes for our Couples young at heart.    

Specialty Cakes - For information on pricing please email me a picture or sketch of the cake you would like to Tanya@midtowncakes.com . Please include the date needed and include servings. Need help designing just let us know! 

3D and Carved Cakes – Those that need structure support are a minimum of $300.  This price includes one ½ hour consultation on design and delivery up to 15 miles from our studio location in Columbus.  Overall detail, servings needed, and delivery miles will determine the final cost.   (Additional design time and consultation will be billed at $50 each additional design hour.) 

How much per serving? The cost for each cake is customized based on size, flavor, filling, and decoration. The smallest cake we offer is 8" and serves 15-20 and is priced starting at $45. 

At Midtown Cakes we do not follow the industry standard of offering a starting price per serving for tiered cakes. The true cost of a tiered cake includes sales tax, delivery, and supports. Tiered cakes are typically $6-$15 per person including all fees. The average wedding cake that serves 100 guest is around $600.

Consultations –  We recommend that you schedule a tasting and consultation appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure that the date of your wedding is available. Bookings are made on a first come, first pay basis. We are a Cake Studio and are limited in the number of bookings we can handle each weekend.  Wedding cake consultations are $55 and include 6 flavors with icings and fillings. Cakes are skillfully hand delivered as close to the event start as possible and delivery is complimentary to the Columbus and Phenix City Area. Delivery charges may apply for extensive travel. For delivery we require a minimum of $200.
